It's been raining all week here, which means two things; indoor workouts and time to enjoy an article or two. Amongst them :
- Articles : Max Misch (aka DieselWeasel) joined the team at Straight to the Bar. His first article - Pull like a strongman - is a great read. Also take a look at Workout gear and Mike Robertson's Hips don't lie.
- Video : a bit of Parkour training in Glasgow, a peek at some rather intense Shaolin training and Edyta Ropek setting a new women's dyno world record.
- Podcasts : a couple to add to your regular subscriptions - KinFit - a regular look into the fitness world and the MBUK Podcast. Plenty of mountainbiking fun.
- Sites : in addition to the ever-growing list of blogs is a collection of fitness-related sites. This week's discoveries included the great martial arts site (take a deep breath) The Polearms of Paulus Hector Mair, TreeClimbing.com (it isn't just for kids) and Cardiac Athletes, which shows that recovery can be half the fun.
- Bonus : A deceptively simple exercise, the Eccentric Abdominal Brace [streaming, 528kb .flv download]. Enjoy.
