On the road again : southern Queensland

080228_crikey.jpgIt's time to do a bit of travelling again - only for a couple of weeks. This time it's a trip across the border into Queensland (about 1,000km north of here), specifically to do some research into my family tree. The great weather and white sandy beaches are just bonuses.

In the meantime (from tomorrow until about March 15), I'll be posting up a number of articles from guest authors; as well as a few updated looks at some hidden gems from the past. If you'd like to contribute an article or two, send me an email. It'll usually appear on the site within a few days.

For those of you who've been asking about my training plans - a mixture of bodyweight exercises and short steel bending. I'll take a look at both of these when I get back.

See you in a couple of weeks.

Scott Andrew Bird

Scott Andrew Bird is a writer, photographer and a guy who just loves this stuff. He's been at home in front of a computer for more years than he cares to remember (OK, 35) and is now making amends for years of many mistakes noted in the De-constructing Computer Guy articles (part 2) on T-Nation.

Find out what he's up to via Twitter, Google+, Facebook; and of course his online home. Enjoy.

The Green, Green Grass of Home.I arrived back in Edinburgh last night, having had my fill of ruined castles, churches and bridges over the past few weeks. Also - somewhat surprisingly - I managed to gain a bit of weight. Trekking around three countries was apparently equalled by the proceeds of a diet rich in pork pies, hamburgers and chips. Mmmm.
