Recommended Training Tools : Bending eBook

The Crushdown.
Each week on Straight to the Bar a member of the team looks at a product or training tool that's made a big difference in their own routines. Be it a DVD, grip toy or something as simple as the Gymboss; you know it's made a serious impact.

First up, a quick look at a book I've been regularly using (it's a great one to have on hand when you're in the gym) - the Diesel Crew's Bending eBook.

I first looked at this book in Feb 2007 (here's a full review), when I was just toying with the idea of bending nails. Since then, I've been bending regularly; always with the Bending eBook close to hand. It's an excellent way to compare my actual techniques to ideal bending methods.

Whatever your strength-training background, if you're just beginning your nail bending journey, grab a copy of the Bending eBook. It really is a fantastic guide to the many types of short steel bending. Highly recommended.

Scott Andrew Bird

Scott Andrew Bird is a writer, photographer and a guy who just loves this stuff. He's been at home in front of a computer for more years than he cares to remember (OK, 34) and is now making amends for years of many mistakes noted in the De-constructing Computer Guy articles (part 2) on T-Nation.

Find out what he's up to via Twitter, Google+, Facebook; and of course his online home. Enjoy.
