Kat began training in 1990. She earned personal training certification
with the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2001, worked as a
trainer at a Gold’s Gym, and as head trainer/manger at a Bally Total
Kat holds a master’s degree in professional writing. Her training
articles have appeared in many top muscle magazines. Infatuated with
the liberation of self-publishing over the Internet, she maintains a
few blogs, including one which reviews fitness equipment and books.
Kat is an explorer by nature and finds great joy in her fitness
evolution. She has competed with various bodybuilding organizations,
and judged for OCB. These days, her passion is strength
training, with big chunks of Olympic lifting and heavybag beating.
