During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Facebook, Twitter, in The Daily ‘Paper’ and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- COVID-19 Vaccines Begin Rolling Out In Australia : Although Australia’s fared pretty well in the pandemic thus far, it’s fair to say that there’s still an enormous demand for these vaccines. To help protect as many people as possible – both within Australia and globally.
- First-in-Human Clinical Trial to Assess Gene Therapy for Alzheimer’s Disease : To slow, prevent or even reverse progression of the neurological disorder. Promising indeed.
- Israel Re-Opens Further With ‘Green Pass’ For The Vaccinated : Keen to see how other countries deal with this situation – re-opening everything.
- Mojo Vision’s AR Contact Lens For The Vision Impaired : An Augmented Reality contact lens that highlights the edges of objects, helping people with low vision to navigate the world around them.
- New EBRAINS-Enabled Tool To Help Guide Surgery In Drug-Resistant Epilepsy Patients : Just one of the many likely outcomes of the Human Brain Project. Wonderful.
NB : If you’re stuck at home for a while, and would still love to get the occasional workout in, swing by the guide page. Whether you’re sans-equipment or already have a home gym set up, these suggestions can really make a difference. What we were talking about this week on Facebook, Twitter and in The Daily ‘Paper’.
