HELPING YOU GET STRONGER SINCE 2004

When it comes to keeping track of the fitness world (and sharing that information), Twitter’s my weapon of choice. Has been for several years now.

If you’re also a fan of the service and would like to dig a little deeper, here are the various ways I put it to work. Dive in.

Twitterchatters

This is the primary gathering of fitness-obsessed people I’ve been fortunate enough to talk to over the years. Really enjoy hearing how everyone does things.

You’ll see this list in the ‘Community’ part of the sidebar, and it also forms the basis of the ‘SttB Daily’ ‘paper’. If you tweet a lot about fitness and would like to be a part of this group, get in touch.

Other Lists

I use Twitter for a number of things, as I’m sure everyone else here does. To talk about strength training, photography and many other topics. Works well.

To make this a little easier – and so people can dive right in to the topics that interest them – I use Twitter’s ‘List functionality quite a bit. There’s a full list of them here :

Why lists? It makes it possible for everyone to follow a specific topic, and to see what a particular group of people are talking about. Whether that’s a specific training-related area such as Clubs & Maces, or a completely unrelated topic like Electric Vehicles.

Whatever you’re in to, it’s all there.

The Daily & Weekly Newsletters

A tweet is sent out whenever a newsletter appears – both for the daily and weekly versions. They’re both great ways to keep up with what’s going on.

Overall, I’m a huge fan of the service. Love it.
