During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the Daily ‘Paper’ and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- 3D-Printed Golf Club : The 3D-printing of various products continues. Is gym equipment – at least some of it – next on the list? What sorts of things would you love to see printed?
- Building Human Replacement Parts : Also in the world of 3D-printing, the incredible BioAssemblyBot. Very interesting indeed.
- Seeing Inside a Living Mouse Brain : A very interesting way to study blood flow in the brain.
- 15 Million Pages of Medical History Going Online : An incredible 15 million pages of 19th-century medical books will be digitised and put online over the next two years. Love it.
- Tracking Sleep with Sense : An extremely promising sleep-monitoring device – the Sense. Looks great.
We also talked about age-related muscle loss (or gain), reversing Alzheimer’s in mice and a whole lot more. Keep up with the World of Health & Fitness in the Straight to the Bar Community on Google+.
