Sword Levering

Nice and close.

Ryan Pitts has been involved in physical culture for 21 years; having been bitten by the bodybuilding bug after seeing Pumping Iron.

At 16 he built his own equipment. At 18 he discovered kettlebells and Pavel and was blown away. Ryan started to train for function and strength and put pumping aside (he still has a love for bodybuilding).

Two years later he competed in the Chicago TSC. The following year – after the contest was cancelled – he signed up for Highland games and had a blast. The kettlebell training really carried over into the Games events.

Enter strongman and feats of strength. Ryan had a urge to learn how to bend steel and rip phonebooks which led him to Dennis Rogers and an amazing inspiration to come up with new and unique grip and core training tools. Strongergrip.com was born.

In the midst of all that he somehow managed to earn a black belt in TaeKwonDo, and have some kids. Unsurprisingly, they share the passion for feats of strength and physical training.
