During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the Forums and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.

  • Psychological Tests on Smartphones : This is a simple test which demonstrates an intriguing possibility – that of using smartphones to tackle a variety of health and psychological test. Kurzweil AI explains.
  • Old Drug, New Treatments : A promising area of research : a team at the University of Michigan’s Life Sciences Institute have found that amlexanox – a drug currently prescribed for the treatment of asthma – also reverses obesity, diabetes and fatty liver in mice. Good stuff.
  • Controlling Sensory Neurons with Light : The ability to control movements with light? Quite possibly.
  • Print Your Own Medicine : Lee Cronin’s impromptu talk at TED shares a truly incredible idea. The ability to print your own medicine.
