During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, Facebook and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- The Science of Insomnia : This is certainly a fascinating area.
- How Exercise Affects Your Body : If you’re just entering the world of fitness (or know someone who is), this is a great overview of what to expect. What happens, why and when.
- Detecting Brain Injuries : There’s some great research (as well as a couple of products) currently examining the field of brain injury. Of particular note – Electromagnetic Coil to Detect Brain Injuries, and Concussion Detection for Car Accidents. Good stuff.
- A Brain in a Supercomputer : Ambitious? Absolutely.
The promise, however, is enormous – determining the causes of the 600 currently-known brain disorders. And that’s just for starters.
There were also a number of things discussed on the Straight to the Bar Community pages, and in the daily ‘Paper‘. However you like to get your dose of ‘What’s happening in the world of fitness?‘, we’ve got you covered. Swing by.
Incidentally, welcome to everyone who’s just joined us in the Paper, and the Straight to the Bar Community. Great to see you here. If you’ve just started using Google+, and are wondering how to get started, here’s a quick guide.
