During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, Facebook and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- The Copenhagen Wheel : Remember MIT’s Copenhagen Wheel idea? A startup’s just been launched which will finalise and produce these wonderful devices. Very interesting indeed.
- Training Progression for Dips : This is one of the first exercises I can recall doing, and still very much a staple.
Question is, how do you progress? And at what point should you start adding weight, and how much? Josh has a few thoughts. - Google Calico and Training Longevity : We’ll be talking about this a lot more in the ‘Future of Fitness‘ Gymchat, but something to think about in the meantime – as the healthy part of life increases, will training longevity increase at the same rate? How about the careers of various athletes?
Interesting area. - The Angel Fitness Tracker : A truly open fitness device. Fantastic.
NB : For the next few weeks I’ll be on-the-road (back Nov 14) – experiencing the joys of hotel workouts and somewhat sporadic internet connections. Will be posting plenty of photos when I get back.
In the meantime, feel free to share any training-related links in the Google+ Community. There are some fantastic conversations there.
