During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the ‘Paper’ and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- SKEWE Adjustable Leg Weights : A very simple idea – leg weights that make it fairly easy to adjust the weight, not just the straps. the SKEWE.
- Coworking Space In A Climbing Gym : Taking the idea of ‘Training at Work‘ up a notch, a co-working space inside the Brooklyn Boulders Somerville climbing gym.
- The Fitness Trackers, Wearables & Apps Continue : As you might have expected, an incredible number of these devices were being demonstrated & discussed at this year’s CES. Very interested to see which ones will make the journey into production (several probably will, in some form).
Here’s a brief summary. - Compete Against Yourself with the ‘Race Yourself‘ Google Glass App : This is one of the areas we talked about in the Future of Fitness Gymchat, and it’s fantastic to see it in action. Very keen to give it a go.
We also talked about ESA’s Skinsuit to Combat Muscle Loss From Weightlessness, an iPad Game That May Detect Alzheimer’s and a whole lot more. Keep up with the world of Health & Fitness in the Straight to the Bar Community on Google+.
