During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the Daily ‘Paper’ and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- Creating Replacement Organs Using Various Technologies : Fascinating race.
- Pulse Oximeter Module in Google’s ‘Project Ara’ : One of many health-monitoring modules being developed for Google’s upcoming ‘Project Ara‘ – a pulse oximeter.
- Smart Fabrics Will Soon Provide More Health Data Than Devices : This is certainly a rapidly growing area – ‘sensor-laden workout clothing‘. Fantastic.
- Storing Genomes in the Cloud : Say hello to the wonderful array of ‘genome in the cloud‘ offerings, such as ‘Google Genomics‘. Incredibly powerful idea.
- Prosthetic Hand With the Ability to Feel : A prosthetic hand which can feel objects. Fantastic.
We also talked about The New Fitness Devices and Apps from Jawbone & Runtastic, Energy-Harvesting Backpacks and a whole lot more. Keep up with the World of Health & Fitness in the Straight to the Bar Community on Google+.
