During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the Daily ‘Paper’ and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- The Stridalyzer : Very interesting device – think ‘sensors on your soles, to assess running form‘.
- Converting Skin Cells to Muscle : A possible way to tackle conditions such as Muscular Dystrophy.
- A Robotic Walker to Assist Rehab Work : Wonderful idea – a device to assist rehabilitation work (walking in this case). Now to pair this with something like the Stridalyzer above, to really understand – and correct – what’s going on.
- The ‘Reusable Handheld Electrolyte and Lab Technology for Humans’ (rHEALTH) ‘Medical Tricorder‘ : Say hello to the rHEALTH. Very promising indeed.
- A Gel to Stop the Bleeding Within Seconds : This is truly incredible. Over to Joe Landolina.
We also talked about The ‘PEEK’ (the Portable Eye Examination Kit), The ‘Embrace’ Wristband (for tracking Epileptic seizures) and a whole lot more. Keep up with the World of Health & Fitness in the Straight to the Bar Community on Google+.
