During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the Daily ‘Paper’ and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- Contacts to Help Treat Glaucoma : A great way to deliver medication to precisely where it’s needed – using contact lenses.
- A Constant Stream of Patient Data : A medical-grade wearable device (for use in hospitals), providing a constant stream of information. Sounds great.
- Smart Glucose Patch for Insulin Delivery : The end of insulin injections? Quite possibly.
- Soft Contact Lenses to Prevent Short-sightedness : Interesting approach – moving from ‘adjustment‘ to ‘prevention‘.
- Mind-Controlled Robot Helps the Disabled Visit Family & Friends : Many, many uses for technology like this. Fantastic.
We also talked about Graphene biosensors, Internal healing using a Gauss Cannon and a whole lot more. Keep up with the World of Health & Fitness in the Straight to the Bar Community on Google+.
