During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the Forums and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- Gymchats with Kyle Bohannon, Conor Doherty : We had a double dose of Gymchat goodness this week, featuring discussions with both Kyle Bohannon and Conor Doherty. If you haven’t watched the videos yet, check them out.
- Making Stem Cells From Blood : The BBC noted an interesting piece of research detailed in the journal Stem Cells: Translational Medicine, looking at the work of a team at the University of Cambridge; aiming to make personalised stem cells from the patients’ blood.
- Exercise Can Improve Memory in Older Adults : Researchers at the University of California looked at the impact of short bursts of exercise on the memory of those over 50. Very interesting indeed.
- An Early Immune Trigger of MS : What triggers MS? Researchers at the Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease may well be on their way to finding out.
- Imaging Parkinson’s Brain Changes : We noted a couple of new ways to use the power of MRI this week, including this : a way to monitor the brain changes associated with Parkinson’s. Good stuff.
NB : to see all of these as they appear (and to share your own thoughts on things), the simplest way is to follow me on Google+. You’ll see these, and a whole lot more.
