My diet at the moment isn’t too bad, although there are a few improvements I’d like to make. Here’s a list of the sorts of things I currently consume :
Pre-breakfast
- Banana, breakfast bar
Breakfast
- Coffee
- Cereal
- Poached eggs
- Omelette
Mid morning
- Banana, breakfast bar
- Hard boiled eggs
- Dried fruit
Lunch
- Pasta/rice/baked potato – generally with tuna
Mid afternoon
- Banana, breakfast bar
- Hard boiled eggs
- Dried fruit
Dinner
- Soup
- Chicken/pork/fish meal with pasta/rice/potatoes and vegetables
- Few glasses of wine
Evening
- Banana, breakfast bar
- Hard boiled eggs
- Dried fruit
Before bed
- Cereal
Through the day I drink a lot of :
- Water
- Tea
- Skimmed milk
- Fruit juice
In the way of supplements, currently I take carbohydrate/protein shakes twice a day; one an hour before a training session and the other immediately afterward.
