Over the past week my television viewing has switched from 1-2 hours per week, to 14-16 hours per day – all of it Olympic in nature. In the few remaining non-sleep hours the following appeared :
- Articles : Dr John Berardi discussed the importance of diet, Marty Gallagher launched the Iron, Mind, Cardio and Nutrition column over at Dragon Door and I peered into the steel-bending archives. Good fun.
- Videos : Bob demonstrated a double three-plate lift, Adam tore the thickest phonebook you’re ever likely to see and we took a brief look at the somewhat unusual sport of Chess-Boxing. Strangely appealing.
- Elsewhere : Monitor your heartrate at work with the Heart Beat Mouse, find out where Ryan got hold of this sword and check out the Easy 30 – audio for a basic kettlebell workout.
- Ideas : Try a box-squat to box jump, perhaps a few inverted pull-ups and a roller burpee or two.
Bonus – Grandfather Mountain Pro Highland Games
Highlights from this year’s Grandfather Mountain Pro. Nice one.
