During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the Forums and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- How exercise can jog the memory : The New York Times noted an interesting study in Neuroscience, looking at the relationship between exercise and memory. Seems that the timing is indeed a factor.
- 77 year-old Bodybuilder : Over the years we’ve seen a number of people enjoying a little strength-training well into their senior years. Joining the list is Edith Wilma Connor, who, at 77 years of age, is still competing in bodybuilding competitions. Fantastic.
- Ninja Warrior Bedroom : If you’ve ever considered building a climbing gym in your house, take a look at this. Incredible.
- InsideTracker & WellnessFX : Based around the concept ‘You can’t manage what you don’t measure‘ is InsideTracker – a great way to turn your blood work into some extremely useful data. Offering a similar set of services is CrossFit‘s newly-launched Wellness FX.
- Needle-free vaccines : Don’t like needles? There may soon be an alternative. Researchers at Flinders Medical Centre are currently testing the use of incredibly fine high-pressure water jets. Very interesting idea.
NB : to see all of these as they appear (and to share your own thoughts on things), the simplest way is to follow me on Google+. You’ll see these, and a whole lot more.
