During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the Forums and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- Exercise Could Repair Heart Damage : Another incredible benefit of regular, strenuous exercise – a possible strengthening of a damaged heart. Very interesting.
- Runtastic : The fitness gadgets and apps continue – this time it’s the superb Runtastic having a bit of time in the sun. Good stuff.
- Exercise Might Make You Smarter : More good news on the ‘exercise and the brain‘ front, presented at this year’s Canadian Cardiovascular Congress. It seems that regular workouts can aid general cognitive functioning.
- Building Winning Muscles At 93 : Say hello to the incredible Dr Charles Eugster, still competing at 93. Fantastic.
- British Medical Journal to Flush Out Secret Trial Data : This is indeed a welcome move. And for a great overview of the wider issue, check out Ben Goldacre’s most recent TED talk.
NB : to see all of these as they appear (and to share your own thoughts on things), the simplest way is to follow me on Google+. You’ll see these, and a whole lot more.
