During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the ‘Paper’ and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- A New Form of Brown Fat Cells : Researchers at the University of Utah have identified brown fat stem cells in adult humans, potentially leading to new treatments for heart and endocrine disorders. Good stuff.
- Ice Climbing Comes To The Olympics : Although it’s been modified slightly, the idea of having Ice Climbing at the Olympics is certainly an interesting one. Look forward to watching it.
- Hypoxic Training & Cryosaunas : How do you recover after a solid session – ever tried Hypoxic Training or a Cryosauna?
- Scientists Generate “Mini-Kidney” Structures from Human Stem Cells : Good stuff.
We also talked about Faster 3D Modelling of Human Organs, Bret Contreras’ Hip Thrusters and a whole lot more. Join the discussion in the Straight to the Bar Community on Google+.
