During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, Nuzzel The Daily ‘Paper’ and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.

  • Studying Wim ‘The Iceman‘ Hof’s Brain Changes During Exposure to Cold : Very interesting indeed – really looking forward to the next round of studies.
  • Potential Drug Targets For ALS Revealed In Study Using CRISPR : Wonderful.
  • Using An Enormous Family Tree to Help Study ‘Nature vs Nurture’ : Very interesting approach (and somewhat more comprehensive than the one in ‘Trading Places’).
  • Strict Eating Schedule = Lower Huntington Disease Protein (In Mice) : Promising. Both for Huntington’s, and for the ‘six-hour window‘ approach.
  • Potentially Reversing Blindness Using Artificial Photoreceptors? : Yep.

We also talked about Apple’s healthcare plans (and those of private companys in general), Research on research on coffee and exercise and a whole lot more.
