A great week here on Straight to the Bar. The highlights :
- Articles : Sam discussed the many benefits of honey, Adam noted the power of bodyweight exercise and Jedd took a great look at sledgehammer work. Love it.
- Videos : we took at look at several movement-based conditioning techniques, some more finger lifting fun and a spot of tram pulling using hair. Incredible.
- Elsewhere : Mike O’Donnell and Scott Kustes have joined forces at Lifespotlight, you’ll find a superb exercise encyclopaedia (with video demonstrations) at Cooper’s Guns and Mike Hanley shares his philosophy of strength training. Great site.
- Ideas : Grab your sandbag + weight vest and try the Weighted Sandbag TGU, test out some Burpee Box Jumps and have a go at the Bricklifting Bear Hug. Highly addictive.

There are several great exercise demonstrations over on the ATP Youtube Channel, including deceptively simple band moves like this – the Supine Hip Extension. Perfect as part of a warm-up on squat days.
