During the past week we’ve discussed a number of great links; on Facebook, Twitter, in The Daily ‘Paper’ and so on. here are a few of my favourites.
  • Gene Editing And Leukaemia : Although this was first noted a few weeks ago, a conversation I had over the weekend made it clear that several countries skipped it altogether (I suspect that Christmas celebrations were partly responsible for the oversight.) In any case, here it is – and it’s as wonderful as the headline suggests.
  • Soon (Likely Within 2023) : The First Drug Targeting The Biology Of Aging Itself : When it comes to the world of anti-aging therapies, this year is shaping up to be a very good one indeed.
  • Use Of ChatGPT In Mental Health Services : Promising, though it certainly raises an interesting ethical issue.
  • A Pillow That Detects Snoring and Automatically Adjusts Your Head : Interesting idea.
  • Cell Therapy To Both Eliminate Established Tumors And To Train The Immune System To Prevent Cancer Recurrence : Wonderful.
We also discussed : Walgreens to pursue certification to provide abortion pills in pharmacies; Using transplanted hair follicles to mend scars and a whole lot more.
